Project managers turn ideas into reality. That is what we do every day at work with our teams. Mei Lin, an inspiring project manager turned her personal idea of authoring a book into reality for her son in 2019. By day, Mei connects project teams to deliver value. By heart, she fuels positivity and kindness to inspire leaders to do more and serve.

   About the Speaker: Mei Lin, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, DASSM

In her current role as a project manager for the City of Plano, Mei helps the City meet its strategic technology goals by applying the best fit project management methods. She is resourceful, results-driven, multilingual, and a PMI-certified Agile Hybrid Project Manager (PMP, ACP, PBA, DASSM).

Mei currently serves as the President of the PMI Dallas Chapter (2020-2021). In 2015-2017, she served as the Vice President to support the Richardson Citizen Fire Academy Alumni Association. She also served in various leadership roles with Toastmasters International District 50.

Mei is the author of Mommy is a Project Manager which provides vivid images for all professional working mothers through the lenses of a project manager. Her goal is to help professional women find their voice and to be proud working mothers.
