Location: University Club - 10th Floor of the Fifth / Third Building - 111 Lyon St NW # 1025, Grand Rapids

Speaker: Robert Heath, Sr., Founder of the Legacy Empowerment Academy and CEO of Legacy Leadership Consulting

Topic: Leadership is Broken!

Topic Description:
Gallup has found that 70% of US workers are disengaged and 18% of these workers are actively endeavoring against their employers. This disengagement results in a loss in productivity that costs US Businesses over $450 Billion annually and the trend is not improving. Additionally, 70% of the factors that lead to employee disengagement are the responsibility of company leadership, however, only 1 in 10 leaders are equipped to make the changes necessary to remedy the problem. For the companies that understand the importance of and engaged workforce and have the proper leadership in place the payoff is massive.

In this discussion on Engaging Leadership, you will learn how we got to this place and what individual leaders can do to impact the engagement of those they lead.
