How do you get your first 1000 connections on LinkedIn and how LinkedIn can help you find your next job? In this open panel discussion, WMPMI President-Elect Kinga Winiarska, PMP, CSM will share her experience in setting up a LinkedIn profile and what techniques she learned along the way to add connections. Also, TEKsystems recruiter, Marlee Cain, will show you how to optimize your LinkedIn profile, how to brand yourself well on LinkedIn, and how to get past the résumé scanning software that most companies use. She will also share the dos and don'ts of what to put on your résumé and what makes for a good résumé format.

Panelist Bios:
Kinga Winiarska, PMP, CSM has 15 plus years of Project management experience. She is a Program Manager for Cigna Healthcare where she provides her expertise in launching new products, partnerships, concepts, as well as provides business support. Prior to her eight years at Cigna, she launched loyalty programs for SpartanNash and Borders Books and provided competitive analysis, acquisition campaigns, and loyalty / CRM marketing. She has over 1,000 LinkedIn connections and will share with you what worked for her and what didn't to gain them. Kinga's passion is helping people and using her creative side to always come up with marketing ideas. Kinga likes to explore new things, go for a walk, and read.
Marlee Cain is a senior recruiter lead with TEKsystems. She has been with the organization for three years, specifically recruiting in the project management and business analyst space. She has been an active participant in WMPMI meetings and organizer of the West Michigan Agile Meet Up. Marlee is always willing to go above and beyond for her consultants providing insights that help them make important career decisions. She is known for her compassionate conversations, knowing her consultants personally and professionally, and her love for all things Michigan State.
