Session 1 Topic:  THEProject 2019 final three competitors will each present their project solutions to our esteemed panel of executive judges.

 Description:

THEProject 2019 is a project management competition that challenges collegiate teams from the west Michigan area to compete against each other to develop the best project plan and executive sponsor presentation based on a provided scenario.  The teams efforts through standard PMI planning stages are adjudicated by executives and PMO directors from the area.

This year’s scenario for THE Project 2019 collegiate competition was to leverage donor funds to identify and select an appropriate campus location to plan a LEEDS certified building renovation for their University’s New School of Project and Program Management.  The renovated building is required to be completely operational and ready for students, faculty, and staff to begin their work by August 17, 2020.

Nine competing teams will be whittled to a “final three” whose presentations to the panel of executive judges can be viewed in the bonus session starting at 4:30 PM and ending at 6:10 PM.  Members and guests that attend the bonus session presentations will earn 1 PDU.  Please note:  Doors to the bonus session will close promptly at 4:25 PM.
