WMPMI's monthly lunch meeting is a one-PDU event featuring a speaker that presents on a topic from the PMI Talent Triangle. Also included is an excellent lunch buffet and the company of your project management peers.

Topic: How to Align the PMO to Agile Processes
Description:
In today’s fast changing environment where agility and speed are the buzz words everybody is using, the question for the PMI folks is this: Is my function still relevant and if so, what needs to change? Jay will share the experience with transforming the PMO at Our Daily Bread to an aPMO and points out the tremendous opportunity for the Project Management area to lead the business to a new way of doing projects and activities in a much more agile way than ever before.

Speaker Bio:
Jay J Keller is a veteran in the IT industry with almost 40 years of experience. As a Swiss/American citizen, he worked for some of the world's finest companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Sony Corporation. Jay has also a vast experience working in the US, Europe and Asia. Currently Jay is the Global Vice President & CIO as well as the VP of Project Management Office of Our Daily Bread Ministries in Grand Rapids.
Jay worked in Sri Lanka for an apparel company called MAS Holdings and oversaw the IT Division. He was also on the Board of the 40,000+ employee company. As an advisor to MAS’ IT companies throughout the World he was a key advisor to MAS. Jay is a vivid speaker, and addressed the Sri Lankan C-Level business leaders on various topics related to IT and Business challenges of the time.
He holds degrees in Business Economics, in Business Engineering and in Computer Science.
Jay was a Board member and the regional Director of INDUS (Indian Subcontinent SAP User Group) for Sri Lanka and was on the Board of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce). He was also a member of the SAP CIO Council of ASUG (American SAP User Group) and of the Executive Advisory Council for Sustainability of SAP AG. As a Non-Executive Director of Avaali Solutions based in Bangalore, India, he is helping a start-up company to break into the market with their product offerings.
