Action Centered Leadersip: Prime the Pump in 2024

In this interactive session Andrew will introduce you to the concepts and functions of Action Centred Leadership (ACL).  In use for over 50 years ACL provides a simple, but not simplistic, framework for use in all leadership situations.  It is “leadership that is centred around action”.

You will be introduced to the model of 3 interlocking circles for Task, Team and Individual, and shown how it can be used to refocus and elevate your leadership activities.  An ACL partitioner for over 40 years, Andrew will sprinkle the session with his own leadership experiences and perspectives, encouraging the participants to do the same.

About the Speaker: Andrew Gill, PMP, CSM

A graduate of the Britannia Royal Naval College and Royal Naval Engineering College, Andrew served sixteen years as a Royal Naval officer before making a career change to engineering and project management in 2000.  His leadership experience now spans over 40 years and across a broad spectrum of different teams.  He is currently Senior Director of Business Transformation at Dematic, leading a global transformation project to update and deploy a new landscape of business processes, technology, and data across the entire company.  A Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005, Andrew is also a Certified Scrum Master and Adair Accredited ACL Trainer and Coach.  No stranger to volunteering with WMPMI, he has previously been a Mentor and PMO Panel Judge for THEProject, Director Program Operations, VP Programs and Chapter President.
