Tim J. Furry
Tim Furry is an AI Ethics and Governance and Data Privacy consultant from Bloomfield Hills, MI. He’s an entrepreneur and also an instructor of Philosophy and Religion at Cranbrook Upper School where he co-teaches an AI Ethics course with the chair of the Computer Science Department. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Dayton and certifications for training in AI Ethics and Data Privacy from For Humanity and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Whether in a classroom, at a conference, or in church, Tim loves teaching and speaking, particularly making complex topics easier to understand and actionable. When not working or reading, he likes to strength train, practice jiu-jitsu, and play games with his sons.
