Using a Business Agile Framework to Drive Project, Program, and Business Results
- 90 minutes - 1.5 PDUs (Strategic and Business Management)
- Presenter: Ted Kallman - Managing Director / CEO of Tiba USA
We live in a time of rapid change in portfolio, program, and project management, and organizations are looking for tools and practitioners who can adapt and adjust quickly to a rapidly moving environment. At the same time, PMs and PMOs are compelled to maintain a tenacious focus on knowing and doing the right things. Over many years of delivering outstanding results in these types of situations Mr. Kallman has found that a simple, agile framework helps to facilitate and drive results regardless of the industry or landscape. He calls this structure the Unified Vision Framework (UVF). The UVF is part of Flow. Flow helps individuals, teams, and organizations enter into and maintain high performance and exceptional delivery of business value. This system has delivered over $100,000,000 in profit over the past 20 years. He, along with his brother Andrew Kallman, co-authors of Flow and the framework, have built or managed agile and traditional projects and PMOs in Asia, EMEA, and the USA.

High Performance Engagement Using Flow
- 90 minutes - 1.5 PDUs (1.0 Leadership / 0.5 Strategic and Business Management)
- Presenter: Ted Kallman - Managing Director / CEO of Tiba USA
An article written by James Harter, PhD., in the Harvard Business Review states that companies with engaged employees outperform other companies by 22%. The article states; “engaged employees “continuously recreate jobs so that each person has a chance to do what they do best.” Engaged employees “listen to the opinions of people close to the action (close to actual safety issues and quality or defect issues), and help people see the connection between their everyday work and the larger purpose or mission of the organization.” When engaged employees do this they create a virtuous circle where communication and collaboration nurture engagement and vice versa. When employees… “clearly know their role, have what they need to fulfill their role, and can see the connection between their role and the overall organizational purpose,” says Harter, “that’s the recipe for creating greater levels of engagement.”
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the elements of productive engagement.
- Learn how a business agile framework communicate and cascade engagement using Vision and Strategy throughout an organization and why this works.
- Determine which tools you can use right now to increase engagement regardless of PM methodology.
- Know how the Unified Vision Framework facilitates successful focus on the right culture-enabling engagement.
