Dealing with Conflict and Resistance in Times of the Pandemic (and Beyond)

The things we experience, that happen to us - or even what we think about them, push our buttons. People push our buttons during a conflict, making it hard to keep the dialogue going. And like an instinct, our immedate reaction is often just to resist or to turn away. This can make things difficult and hard stop your communication. In this session you will understand how buttons are being pushed, which buttons might be extra-sensitive on your side - and how to better „stand the pain“ or even be able to move forward in your action or dialogue.

 About the Speaker: Daniel Hendling, PMP

Daniel is a Project Manager and PM-Consultant living in Austria, Europe. During his career he gained insights and knowledge in the organization, processes and people - and how projects and programs are executed effectively - in different countries, businesses and environments. Being a true philantropist, he doesn’t just look at the technical elements of Project Management, but also at the human side of projects - where conflicts arise and resistance is triggered. Being an experienced project manager who is deeply involved with the PMI, carrying certifications of all major standards, taking part in the creation and evolution of standards and applying these global best practices in a large range of business helps Daniel manage or support individual projects and also implement Project Management in an organization. Last not least, Daniel has strong ties with Indonesia and the Indonesian chapters, always happy to help and support, where needed.
