Our 2014 / 2015 Season, "The Future of Project Management" is well underway!

Sept 8: Dinner Meeting, Mark Layton is coming back for concepts in Agile Projects to be followed once again with his 2-day Certified ScrumMaster training.  For our Bounus session Experis will help us understand what they are seeing regarding Project Management employment.

Sept 9-10: Certified ScrumMaster Training, Mark Layton's 2-day Certified ScrumMaster Training.

Oct 13: Dinner Meeting, John Sawyer of Grey Matter Group will help us structure our communications for better results, with a bonus session of a PMO Panel sharing their thoughts on the future of the "Project Management Office".

Nov 10, Dinner Meeting, Jeff Roley will discuss Mentoring Future Leaders, Mike Yoder will present at our Bonus session regarding Social Media for Professionals

Dec - Project Managers are asked to use their creativity in setting up small group dinners / lunches to discuss the profession.

Jan 12, James Brown, our Keynote Speaker for THE Project 2014 will be back (and offering a leadership class the next day)!  Jim Boes Past President of APICS will provide our Bonus session

Feb  9, Diner meeting, brings in Jeff Dalton as keynote and Robert Berlin for our Bonus session discussing leadership concepts in a fun game type of training session.

Mar  9, Dinner Meeting will have Joe Tipton for both our keynote and Bonus session discussing Managing for Improvement parts 1 & 2.

Mar 17, PDD - Will probably double in size from last year as we bring in Author & Futurist Daniel Burrus of Flash Foresight!!!  (A select group of 5 CEOs will have the opportunity to have a private lunch with Mr. Burrus!)

Apr 13, THE Project 2015, our Collegiate Project Management Competition, (in its 4th year) will again be a highlight of our season.

May 11, Dinner meeting has an opening for our Keynote Speaker preceded by an exciting WMPMI Business meeting with the WMPMI Board.

The Western Michigan Project Management Institute (WMPMI) is pleased that you have found us and hopefully staying in touch with us.  We have lined up a very exciting season with the theme "The Future of Project Management".  This year our Collegiate Competition will be in it's 4th year and our Professional Development day is expected to have over 500 in attendance!

WMPMI is an organization of Professional Project Managers with the primary mission to promote the practice of project management, and leadership development throughout our community.  We serve the West Michigan area from the Michigan State board just south of Battle Creek to the coast of Lake Michigan and just west of Lansing, including the western part of the Upper Peninsula.
