WMPMI's monthly chapter meeting is a two-PDU event featuring two presentation sessions linked by networking time and a buffet dinner.

Session 1 Speaker:  Eric Stoll

Session 1 Topic:  Building a Forward Operating Base KKMC

This presentation is an overview of the project management required to build and run a forward operating base for combat operations during Desert Storm.

Speaker Bio: 

Eric Stoll is Manager of Program Management in Grand Rapids, MI. Grand Rapids is a Fuel & Motion Controls Systems business in Eaton Corporation’s Aerospace Group. He joined the West Michigan Veteran’s Coalition Executive board in 2018. He has volunteered to lead the employment committee, which has helped numerous veterans find employment in West Michigan.

Eric joined Eaton in 2014 as a Senior Program Manager. He has led Integrated Program Teams for critical commercial and military programs. He is a portfolio, project, and program manager for aerospace electro-mechanical actuation systems. Eric has led and has profit and loss responsibility on programs valued over $100M and has won several corporate awards for program execution and customer satisfaction.

Eric is a retired United States Air Force officer, combat seasoned and instructor fighter pilot, and has received many honors and awards for exceptional service. While in the USAF, Eric has lead teams in excess of 400 personnel and budgets exceeding $3 billion in austere combat conditions. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.


Session 2 Speaker: Robert Heath, Sr.

Session 2 Topic:    Thriving in Chaos

On a daily basis, leaders wrestle with time and budgetary constraints that leave them feeling like their only hope is to simply manage the Chaos and survive another day. This presentation will provide you with an overview on how to master time management, get more done in less time, and be more engaged with and satisfied with your work.

PDU:  1.0 (0.5 Leadership, 0.5 Strategic and Business Management)

Speaker Bio:   

Robert Heath, Sr. combines the Leadership principles he used as an Officer and Company Commander in the United States Marine Corps with the personnel development strategies he has mastered over 20 years of leading, teaching, and coaching. Robert works with leaders who desire to increase productivity, initiative, and follow through; reduce stress and inefficiency; and get the very best out of their team on every project, regardless of who they may lead.

He served for 8 years as a United States Marine Corps Officer and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his leadership as a Commander of one of the largest companies in the Marine Corps. Robert received his JD, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. He also holds an MA in Teaching from Christian Brother's University, as well as BA degrees in Economics and Speech Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
