WMPMI's monthly chapter meeting is a two-PDU event featuring two presentation sessions linked by networking time and a buffet dinner.

Location: The Pinnacle Center - 3330 Highland Dr, Hudsonville, MI 49426

Session 1 Speaker:  Mark Mochel, MBA, PMP, CSM - Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Facility Health, Inc.

Session 1 Topic:  I’ve Been Using Agile and I Didn’t Even Know It. Survival is a Great Motivator – Lessons Learned from a Start-Up Business.

Beginning in mid-2015, Mark began working on a contract/consulting basis with 3 other people to assist in the formation of a new company. It was a shot in the dark. That company, FHI, was formed on January 1, 2016, based on an idea that there is a better way to proactively manage Healthcare infrastructure assets and facilities. Now providing services to over 50 individual hospitals in 8 Health Systems around the country, Mark will talk about lessons-learned from this 3-year journey, and how Agile thinking has kept the company alive.

Speaker Bio:
With over 20 years of project and program management experience, Mark is passionate about the utilization of technology to drive predictive maintenance in HealthCare and improve facility performance. That means creating an objective, data-driven communication link between the technicians, the engineers, the facilities management team, and the executive leadership where the capital investment decisions are made. Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from The University of Michigan.
