WMPMI's monthly lunch meeting is a one-PDU event features a speaker that presents on a topic from the PMI Talent Triangle for 45 minutes and allow 15 minutes for questions. Also included is an excellent lunch buffet and the company of your project management peers.

Topic:  Leading our Groups

Description: Every now then touching on some basics enlightens what it is that we do.  Group dynamics based on empowerment, needs, change, motivations, and needs are all items we can take for granted. However, a retrospective review can help us work more effectively.

Speaker Bio: Matt Boon is currently a project manager at Spectrum Health in their Information Security department. He is one of those people who likes change.  As an enthusiastic advocate of project management, he is passionate about implementing innovation through mulitple project management methodologies.  At Spectrum Health, he has been involved with many projects, including a very high priority incident management project. Prior to Spectrum Health, Matt worked in Nashville, TN for a group that owned 207 hospitals moving consolidated data centers and helped standardize backup and recovery systems.  Matt is  currently enrolled in Cornerstone University’s MBA program for project management, and believes he’s the only student grandpa in the program.
