Types of Sponsorships in more Depth

Our Monthly Dinner Meetings in Grand Rapids may be the best attended PMI Chapter meetings in the State averaging around 110 people every month from September through May.  In addition we send out reminders and newsletters to around 700 names.  For sponsoring a monthly meeting we can provide you with:

  • Your logo on our website for the sponsored meeting which goes out in our newsletter
  • a 10 minute presentation introducing your company indicating how you can help us
  • Opportunity to place small handouts on our dinner tables for participants

We conduct a Professional Development Day (PDD) in March with estimated attendance of between 300 - 400 project managers.  Our keynote speaker this year is author Daniel Burrus of Flash Foresight.  We offer Display Tables, opportunities to introduce yourself / company to the audience prior to presentations, break & lunch sponsorships, along with logos on programs / advertisements.  Last year we recieved very good feedback on the interactions between our sponsors and our attendees.

We hold a Collegiate Competition in April, THE Project which brings collegiate teams and local business leaders together in a project management competition through WMPMI.  A reverse career fair for companies to interview our participating students is also a part of the agenda.  This event has obtained world-wide recognition through PMI video's that you can find on this site under THE Project links.  There are opportunities to introduce your firm, place ads and articles in our event program, have a display table, obtain advanced copies of participating student profiles for interships / employment, obtain no charge seats at our evening dinner meeting / keynote presentation, and place your logo on our website as well as in the Grand Rapids Business Journal.

The funds you provide allow our group to improve and add affordable educational offerings and networking opportunities for Project Manager Professionals and students. Creating and maintaining a Project Management environment benefits us all for the success of our economy and businesses.
